Youth Information

Mid August early September of 2002 St Kevin's parish promoted the idea of a youth group. The youth group began in October and is held every second Sunday after 6pm Mass. St Kevin's youth group is social based and softly spiritual. Youth aged between 12 to 25 attend activities such as bowling, movie nights, barbecues etc. We have many youth lectors and Ministers of Communion and Altar servers involved in Mass at present. We are endeavoring to recruit some musicians and singers for a youth band.

St Kevin's Parish Subsidy

Broken Bay Lighthouse Festival 2007 - 24th-26th August

Our parish has kindly offered to subsidise a portion of the cost for the festival. The Festival is for students in years 10, 11, 12, Uni students or young adults up to 25 years old. It’s a fantastic way to connect with other young people and grow your faith in an energetic, vibrant atmosphere. Music, amazing workshops, meditation, great speakers, are just some of the things that will take place during the Festival.

Our parish will help pay for part of the cost of $110, which covers meals, accommodation, transportation and most activities. To be eligible, we simply ask you to write down what you would hope to gain from attending the Festival. Send this in to youth@stkevinsdy.org.au or drop it in the parish office.
